This system has a automatic battery backup which will kick in if the grid power goes off.  This system will run 8 hours without any grid supply.

If the grid power goes off, the system will automatically kick in and supply power from the batteries. Once grid power is restored a backup generator will start and charge the dicharged batteries and switch off once all the batteries have been charged, during this process the system will run as normal from the grid.
